We have been on several Gate 1 trips. I don’t think we will ever have another as good. We wre a group of 2 families with adult children and we did a 7-day safari with Wakanda Serengeti including Tarangiri, Lake Natron, Northern and Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro. He was always very kind, and I can’t say enough amazing things about him. I would come back and do it again if I could afford it just to have him as my driver again Pride was my favorite stay, but Lake Elementaita was great too. I just wish we could’ve stayed there another day also.
Overall, another great experience in schwinn mountain bicycles Africa and Gate 1 trip. I also like that he is English as am I and we have the similar culture and views in common. We always felt safe, despite the crime rate in the country evidenced by the security protections on most/ all buildings ! I would be very happy to travel with John again in Africa .
He was usually the first vehicle in our group to reach the wildlife, and was able to maneuver for the best photo angles. He is the ultimate professional, being respectful of the guests’ needs, and was able to share what life was like for him and his family living in Tanzania. I have traveled with other tour companies before, but this was my first time traveling with Gate 1 and the entire process has been seamless. How lucky was I That there were only 2 other guests.
