We’d love to make riding a bike as commonplace as your morning cup of coffee, which by the way is our other obsession. Former professional road and track rider Adam Blythe has a new Genesis road bike and it’s certainly provoking comment, not just because of the gold leaf finish but also thanks to the bulbous head tube. Our bikes are designed and built in Milton Keynes, but we’re willing to outsource production to Vietnam and Indonesia. Our frames are hand-assembled in small quantities before being stored. If you’re in the market for a bike, the lines of bikes Genesis carries offers something for everyone, no matter your level, size, or age.
Genesis created the personalities and graphics for bikes built for the world’s diverse cultures. You can see our work for Giant in the grueling Tour de France, on Tokyo commuter streets, and in a garage much like your own. For a bike of this range, the models are very satisfactory.
The Genesis brand was created in the UK in 2006 by H Young Holdings (owner of the distributor Sportline UK). YouTube’s privacy policy is available here and YouTube’s terms of service is available here. Trek will fill all orders placed before it takes over as store owner. Bike service must be completed before Trek takes over, the site says.
If there are any issues with your bike, return it for a full refund or receive a replacement bike for free. The CDA on the other hand is less race and more sportive, with relaxed endurance geometry and massive tyre clearance for knobblies so you can truly take it anywhere. Next up is the endurance-focused Zeal, which is full carbon, so you can ride longer and faster with less effort. The first Genesis bike was produced under the Ridgeback brand as the Day One model in 2001. Due to its popularity, Genesis became a label in its own right in 2006. Finished with 37mm tyres and in a glorious forest green colourway, this is an enduring bike and one worthy of the Day One moniker.
For those interested in dipping their toes into racing, or just want a sportier feeling bike, the Zeal range is Genesis’ entry level carbon option. The geometry is more aggressive than the endurance-oriented Equilibrium, but not quite as ‘head-down bum-up’ as the dedicated racers that are the Zeros. Giant is the largest manufacturer of genesis bike quality bicycles in the world. What they owned in “build quality” they lacked in brand connectivity. Genesis was hired to help create a brand visual language to help tie the products into a cohesive whole in the global marketplace. Finding the center of the brand design was based on our uncovering the “truth in materials” position.
Its 1×9 drivetrain keeps things simple, while the swept back riser bars give the rider a more upright position. The Mantle is the brand’s XC and endurance bike, and is a full carbon 29er hardtail with 100mm travel. The Genesis Tarn is a steel-framed short-travel hardtail with 120mm travel and 27.5in wheels, and is equipped with Maxxis Rekon tyres.
Gravel bikes are what everyone wants right now, says Erin Fagan, the events coordinator (and more) at Genesis Bicycles in Easton. For Erin, being so close to the trail is a huge advantage since beginners are nervous riding on the road with cars. The Fugio is a rowdier bike than the Croix de Fer, more suited to playing around on the trails and using the bumps as a platform to get some air. The dropper seatpost, slacker head angle, shorter chainstays and clearance for tyres up to 50mm wide on 650b wheels are responsible for this more playful handling. Essentially an aluminium version of the Croix de Fer, the CDA features a similar plethora of mounts and wide clearances but comes in at a significantly lower price.

The frameset is incredible versatile and lends itself to a multitude of different builds. You could put 38c tyres on it and go bike-packing on some gravel, or you could put front and rear pannier racks on, throw in some mudguards, and take it on an around the world tour. You could even commute, go on road rides, use it as a utility shopper. Plus, the lightweight alloy wheels add to the bike’s speed and agility.
Although Blythe says that he loves the look, people on social media have been less complimentary. Genesis bicycles are sought after because they have high-quality frames that are backed by extensive warranties. The Genesis Day One was the name of the company’s first flat-bar road bike, which was introduced in 2001. Genesis invented gravel bikes, and the Vin Cox set a Guinness World Record for the fastest bike around the world. Additionally, these bikes are pleasant to ride and are available in a range of body sizes and styles. It makes a good commuting bike since it can tolerate some punishment.
