The group will be split into 2 teams to play, each game will last 4/5 minutes when another game will start or new rules are introduced. We promote good sportsmanship, cooperation and integrity through fun games and battles. Our coaches will teach the basics of balancing, pedalling and confidence on the bike. Games will be used to test newly learnt skills in a fun and informative manner.
In 1979, production of Raleigh 531 butted-tube bicycles reached 10,000 units a year. In 1981, the former Carlton factory at Worksop closed after a vote was held. The original decision to continue at Worksop was reversed but the management decided to go with the original decision, and by the autumn production was moved kent road bike to a Lightweights facility at Nottingham. However, all bicycles made there afterward still carried the W for Worksop frame number designation until early 1990. In 1982, rights to the Raleigh USA name were purchased by the Huffy Corporation after decades of being the US distributor of Raleigh bikes from England.
With 1,400 acres of rolling terrain and six miles of frontage on the Grand River, the park is rich in natural resources, featuring unique habitats and large natural areas for wildlife to thrive. Facilities within the park include a six-acre beach and splashpad, boat rental facilities, nearly 18 miles of trails, and other diverse opportunities for recreation and relaxation. As a regional celebration of our nation’s millennium, the park is an ambitious project to eventually reclaim 1,500 acres of heavily-used land for public recreation. Now stretching between Johnson Park and John Ball Park, Millennium Park offers an abundance of land to explore and outdoor activities to enjoy. A full size basketball court is available first-come, first-served at the northeast end of the main recreation area. To find it, park in the first lot you come to after entering at the main drive. The party will start with a safety talk followed by a demonstration, each participant will be taught how to aim and shoot safely. Our instructors will organise teams and individual games, make sure everyone gets involved and ensure they all enjoy the competition.
