Ozark Trail Breathable Sleeping Bags

By the time we got back from camping the next weekend three out of four sleeping bags had the zippers broken. I’m so disappointed with this product that I advise anyone buying sleeping bags not to even look at Ozark and buy Coleman instead. I used this bag from February of 2002 to June of 2002 on the Appalachian Trail, and I still have it.

Bought this for backpacking because it is lightweight and packs small, but it is a complete waste of $45. Even with clothes, a thin liner and a fleece liner inside it, the bag could not dispel the cold. There was zero insulation properties as far as I could tell. It did not even get down to 40, more like upper 40s at the most and probably low 50s when I used it. The bag uses Climatech fill, a down alternative, making it very light. The roomy bag, 33 inches wide by 75 inches long, rolls up to a compact 14 by 8 inches.

I did a good bit of research before purchasing ours. Of course, I wanted something that would keep us ozark trail chair warm. Mummy bags are very effective for keeping warm, but I am not comfortable in a confining bag.

I got in the bag, tried to zip it and the zipper tore immediately.

When sleeping beneath the stars on your camping adventure, stay warm on chilly nights with the Ozark Trail 10F Mummy Sleeping Bag. The mummy-shaped design with chest baffle provides optimal thermal insulation and is approved for temperatures as low as 10 degrees Fahrenheit. An added interior stash pocket offers a safe place to keep your valuables nearby. The Ozark Trail 40-60F Sleeping Bag is a sensible choice for camping, backpacking, and other outdoor activities. The Ozark Trail 40-60F Sleeping Bag is highly durable, as it is lined with 100% polyester fabric both on the inside and outside.

Nice Ozark Trail Warmfoot 75” by 33” Polyester fiber batting insulation. And storage roll up straps are both in great condition. Thanks for viewing the vintage . This sleeping bag will ship USPS shipping. I notice this isn’t the first review with this complaint. The zipper broke on my warm weather bag on the second night out.

The winner has 3 days to pick up the item from the appropriate warehouse. Bids can be placed via web browser or iOS/Android app. Every item starts at just $1, with no reserve price. The bag is machine-washable and the lightweight design fits easily in both the washer and dryer.

I bought the zero degree bag and nearly froze to death. This is more like a 40 degree bag rating. Day one, night one…the zipper tore and cord in hood broke.

Rated for 30-degrees, we have slept in it down to 13. The bag, by itself, is not very warm at that temperature. We layer a blanket between the sleeping pads and the sleeping bags for some extra insulation. When it is very cold I also use a comforter over the sleeping bags.

We wear warm clothes to sleep in, including a beanie. Hand warmers in our socks and body warmers in our shirts are helpful as well. Our sleeping bags zip together, allowing us to take advantage of the shared body heat.
