Ozark Trail Quad Folding Camp Chair 2 Pack only $12 95 $6.47 per chair!

The Coleman Cooler Quad has been our pick since 2016, through numerous camping trips and several testing sessions. I’m a writer for Wirecutter covering outdoors and travel gear. I’ve lived in Southern California, Washington, and the home state of Vermont. I’ve camped throughout those regions and everywhere in between, toting gear to mountains, forests, beaches, and deserts. Wherever I go, a crucial piece of the camping setup is a stable, comfortable chair. While most of the furniture you can buy online today comes unassembled, that’s rarely the case for things like camp chairs.

Since these are mechanical disc brakes, they are only as good as the cable connecting them. In the case of the front brake with its shorter, straighter cable routing, it works well. After six months of frequent use, the stitching along one arm had come unraveled, and the small straps holding up the back of the armrests had both ripped in half. After eight years of consistent use by senior editor Kalee Thompson’s two young boys, the REI Co-op Camp Chair is, she reports, faded and worn but still holding up. In order to give the Ozark Trail Camping chair a thorough testing, we took it out to the base of the Lammermuir hills on a breezy, overcast afternoon to see how it would fare.

Our Mega events provide free camping, free lunch & dinner, live music, a giant bonfire, and fun raffles for kids and adults.

It probably wouldn’t have fallen off, but these bikes should probably have at minimum a safety check from a bike shop following purchase. The bike is also available online, so the final assembly will be up to you. This sleeping bag is made from a breathable material and the zipper closure up the side makes it easy to get into and out of it in the morning. Tote your gear effortlessly with Upgo’s collapsible wagon, which is 50 percent off for Labor Day. It can accommodate up to 350 pounds of cargo and features four all-terrain wheels that withstand mud, grass, gravel, and beyond.

This might come as a surprise to many, but the test riders were all smiles when it came to the climbs on this bike. Perspective is key here; you’re not flying uphill like you do on a high-dollar XC racer, but it’s not a painful experience, either. We were even able to scale climbs and clean sections that have stopped other far more expensive bikes in their tracks. Save $77 on Qomotop’s four-person tent, which only takes 10 seconds to set up. The interior is spacious enough to accommodate a queen-sized mattress and other gear and is recommended for up to two adults and two children.

Keep in mind that lightweight chairs won’t be nearly as comfortable as traditional camping chairs, so take the word comfortable with a grain of salt. Since 2016, our testers (with different body types and physical needs) have subjected camping chairs to multiple camping trips. We chose the Coleman Cooler Quad Chair as the model with the right combination of comfort, durability, usability, and price for most campers. These Ozark Trail camping chairs are perfect to take with you to kids’ sports games, camping trips, or to simply have them ozark trail canopy around so you can lounge in your backyard or for guests when having cookouts. They are lightweight and fold up for easy and compact storage when not in use.

If you’re looking for highly specialized or ultra-lightweight chairs for backpacking, our recommendations are probably not for you. We also don’t have suggestions for couch-style or loveseat chairs (we’d like to look at those someday, though). It’s perfect for tall individuals due to the longer back and head rest panel which gives stability and ample back support to the chair. The wide seating area makes it comfortable for users of all heights and everyone can benefit from the longer back panel. One of the best features is the longer back panel which reaches up to the neck and allows for you to tip your head back and rest it on the lightly cushioned area for extra relaxation.

It delivers a solid baseline of build quality, comfort, and reliability that we didn’t find in other, similarly priced chairs. It’s more affordable than other chairs we tested of similar quality. Most other chairs in its price range don’t match its quality, features, or reputation. Weighing about 8 pounds, the Coleman chair is lighter than most traditional models, so it’s easier to grab from deep in a car trunk or to carry for long distances. The Ozark Trail Comfort Camping Chair comes neatly packaged in it’s carrying bag with a loop handle so you can easily pop it over your shoulder which makes it easy to transport from car to camp. Its lines, components and geometry all look like a modern mountain bike.

Buy a mesh bag for storage, attach a D-Ring, and clamp it onto one of the chair’s support struts. It’s the lightest, most portable chair that is still comfortable. The Helinox Chair One weighs about 2 pounds, compresses smaller than a 2-liter bottle of soda, and is our most lightweight pick. Our testers consistently said the King Kong chair was the most heavy-duty-feeling model of all the chairs we tested. Several Wirecutter staffers have owned the Coleman chair for years, using it on camping trips, in backyards, and at sporting events. For the most part, it’s held up well, but one common quibble is that the seat bottom begins to sag after several years of use.

If you want something easier to access, you could always drill a small hole in one corner of the tray table and affix the D-Ring there, but many people will balk at the idea of defacing their chair. Either way, adding a bit of storage is easy if you want or need it. Aside from the impressive amount of weight the chair can support, the thing we like best about the numbers above is the width of the seat. At a whopping 28”, this chair can accommodate ozark trail backpack just about anyone.
