The seat post simply slides in place, but first you should slide the light reflector on it and screw it in place. There should be a back quick release clamp that will hold the seat in place that attaches to the seat post, simply grab hold of the lever, clamp it down, and pull it tight to hold the bike seat in place. The basic rule of thumb is that the bike seat should be almost equal to the height of your waist, adjust the seat accordingly so that it is comfortable. Recently, there’s been a trickle down, so features previously only seen on LBS [local bike shop] bikes are creeping into big-box bikes at a fraction of the cost. You also have a large variety of bike choices at big-box stores. There’s usually a bike type for any taste — all on the cheap.
The wrench built into my multi-tool is made for tires, so it is slightly too large to fit and adjust the handlebars because they used another type of bolt like screw for it. This is a minor problem because I just added a wrench to my backpack repair kit and moved along. With a long history of active, successful participation in the BMX and bicycle mass market industry, it was time to establish a similar position with the High-End Mountain Bike industry. The Hyper Havoc FS mountain bike is 26″ in size, it is a 21 speed mountain bike, with Shimono gear shifters. It is well assembled (for the most part) and I don’t think the bike will break or disassemble on me while I ride it. It is an aluminum frame and the tag that was attached to the bike says that it can hold about 275 lbs or so. The Hyper 26″ Shocker Men’s Full Suspension Mountain Bike will deliver a comfortable ride, on and off the road.
This was one of the only things that I was skeptical about when purchasing the Hyper MTB Ebike. I had not used a pedal assist Ebike and so I wasn’t sure just how much effort would be required from me as the rider. It’s not hyper mountain bike that I am a lazy person, it’s more that I was considering how I planned to use this bike. In my mind, I was envisioning a cold November evening having hunted all day and facing a ride back to camp with all of my gear.
For an off road test I took the Hyper MTB Ebike to a local park wth 14 miles of easy – difficult trails. With the bike on the Medium setting, I was able to make it all the way through with the trail hyper bike system with a little bit left in the tank. Overall I would have to say I am not only happy with the performance but also happy to see the product description live up to it’s real world use.

Last year we locked in a 320 acre hunting lease in Northern Michigan for whitetail hunting. The lease has a mix of dense woods and clearings with minimal trails throughout the property. Last year we had access to an ATV which was perfect for traversing the property when we were getting ready for hunting season and also a great way to transport hunters from our basecamp to their tree stand. My bf got mad at me for buying it, cuz he wanted to get him something else. My son likes this bike more than the one my bf got him 🤣 it sounds so realistic.
With that in mind, we started looking at alternative travel methods that would have a little bit more stealth for our early morning approaches to our tree stands. Ebikes have been growing in popularity in the last few years and are being used for a number of different applications from daily commutes to trail riding. Brands have even popped up who are tailoring their Ebikes towards hunters but, there is just one problem, they are really expensive. When I say expensive, I mean you could buy an Ebike that costs more than a well equipped, brand new ATV. There are two nuts on the front tire, one on the left side and one on the right.
Out of the box the manufacturer recommends that you charge the Ebike for a minimum of 4 hours before use, which I started before assembling the bike. True to the manual, after the 4 hour charge time was complete, I was ready to roll with full power available to me. Bought the Pioneer 12 for my daughter’s 5th birthday – she absolutely loves it!
