OZARK TRAIL COMMERCIAL WHITE CANOPY TOP Eagle Peak Canopy and Outdoor Products

This is our last water source till Fane Creek which will be our home for the night. Usually at this point in the day at home, I am tired and want to rest. My brain would feel cloudy, my body would feel heavy like lead. There is no resting out here, ozark trail wagon at least not in the sit-on-a-couch-and-do-nothing kind of way. I take my rest in moving more slowly, and stopping for short breaks when needed. I can tell this trip is challenging the routine I had built for myself at home and I like it.

This is partially because I talked to a lady at REI who used one for a PCT thru-hike, but it’s also a good tent. It’s roomy enough for me and all my stuff, a nice color, and made of a fabric that doesn’t have forever chemicals. In my tests, my only complaint is that the zippers could be more fluid. As for the cost, girl math tells me that I only have to sleep in it for a few more nights than a hotel or hostel than I would with a cheaper one for me to start making money. Overall, we think the Ozark Trail canopy serves its intended purpose – a value brand 10×10 instant shelter that caters to price conscious consumers looking for an affordable shade option. And compared to some of the tents in the EZ-Up lineup, it sells for almost a 70% discount.

I also have a Swiss Army knife that I imagine will mostly be used for filing my nails. A random bandana will surely prove useful for some type of liquid or other. I have to bring hypoallergenic laundry sheets because I have an allergic reaction to scented detergents and don’t want to have to deal with a rash on the trail.

We put the lightweight Cool Cabana pop up beach canopy to the test during an East Coast vacation. What better way to enjoy a ballgame, picnic, or any outdoor activity than with a little bit of shade! This 10’x10′ canopy pops up easily, and will keep sun burn and overheating at bay. The canopy features a built-in 300 lumen LED lighting system that features a low, medium and high setting so you can tailgate… I’m carrying a birth control pill with the intention of taking it continuously for the whole time on trail so that I do not have to deal with periods.

We know everyone isn’t a good fit for professional-grade TentCraft structures, and that’s OK! But if and when you’re tired of replacing cheap tents, reach out to us to learn more about what American-made quality looks and feels like. While I initially bought an inflatable Nemo Tensor pad, I will start the trail with a foam one I got for free—a Therm-a-Rest Ridgerest.

A center height of 112″ allows even the tallest member of the family to be comfortable under the canopy. The biggest issue in all of this is the inability to withstand any rotational pressure during medium and high impact weather conditions as the joints become unstable and collapse at the mid points. In windy conditions high stress is applied to each side and the frame begins to break down at the unreinforced joint connectors. A straight leg canopy (obviously) utilizes a straight leg profile.

I don’t have the patience to blow up a pad every night and don’t want to worry about getting a hole and, again, being SOL in the middle of the woods. It does make my figure a little wider when slipping ozark trail wagon through narrow openings between trees and rocks, but it’s a lot cheaper if I need to replace it and is more usable when damaged. We find a really cool waterfall coming out over some flat rocks!

Sorry, but I refuse to consume the chemicals created when the sun beats down on Smart Water bottles. I’ll likely add a couple of tablets for a backup water sanitizing method if something happens to the filter. A pair of bright pink Goodrs, an Adidas running hat, and a sleep shirt and shorts will round out the stuff I’ll put on my body. My trekking poles are the REI Tarns—hey, if I’m short enough to buy kids’ versions of gear, I’m going to take the cost savings!

For a pack, I went with the Osprey Eja 58–though, since it’s a small, it is only 55 liters big. I wanted to have a pack that had room between my back and the back of the pack to prevent chafing and mitigate sweating. It does a nice job of weight distribution and has a good amount of straps and zippered pockets. My one qualm is how small the hip belt pockets are, but I plan to pick up a phone pouch at REI to attach to the strap to help with this. I just graduated from college and am now making the final preparations for my thru-hike as I unpack and sort through all my stuff at my Mom’s house. Moving is one of my least favorite things, and it is made especially hard because I’ll never move back into my college dorm or be an undergraduate student again.

From a negative perspective, the weight is indicative of a lack of high quality material and components used throughout the shelter. The included carrying bag does not have wheels to aid in transportation, but at only 29 lbs. We don’t find that to be a noteworthy drawback as the nylon handles and shoulder strap work just fine in carrying the tent.
