Kids should be a certain age before they are mature enough to handle the extra power of an e-bike, even a low-power one like this. Of course, all the fun is in going fast in high power mode, though that drains the battery quicker. The medium power mode seems like a nice happy middle ground. Kent State University partners with SPIN to provide shared eBikes and eScooters that are available on campus and within the City of Kent for use by students, faculty, staff, and the community. Riding an eBike or an eScooter is a fast, easy way to get from class to class, run errands, and even a short commute.

The trick is to find a friendly pub who will recharge the batteries over a leisurely lunch! The bikes were excellent, suiting 3 people of very different size and experience! And yes, the Lectric XPremium is probably the best game in time now when it comes to mid-drives at affordable prices.

A very basic LED display indicates battery and power-assist levels but doesn’t include a speedometer or mileage counter. All applicable taxes will be assessed based on the sum of the sales price and buyer’s premium.
