This is one of those products where the instructions are basically a complete fantasy. They make one false unstated assumption after another. And even then, they’re not simple. What you wind up with is a web of pipes and plastic pieces that falls apart at one end as you assemble the other. Then the instructions start to get really funny.
Can someone point me to the person please. Tried to buy replacement parts but they were discontinued. The screening and roof are all in excellent condition, along with all the poles, etc. With two more roof poles, I’m sure this could be prevented. I have purchased outdoor sporting goods from Coleman and they not only have much better products, but they stand behind what they sell. After setting it up, it seems to me folks just don’t know how to exercise a little common sense and patience.
I purchased my tent a couple of years ago, but time passed and just got it out to put it up. Also, one of the parts broke before using it one time. The Ozark Trail Screen House is 13 feet long and nine feet wide, with a standing space that tops out at seven feet high.
Hard to set up for one person. It take 2 people at least to set this screen house up. This model has been discontinued and I only need two parts to fix it. No information on where I can get replacement parts. I need one of part number GBLL-05 (three-way hub gable left) and one of part number GBLR-05 (three-way hub gable right). Had I have known that this particular screen house was so hard to find, I would have bought a kit and tried to repair it.
The were never opened by the seller. We have only been using one since. After a pretty bad storm at the beach, a few of the poles ozark trail chairs broke…so we are moving onto the next new one and selling the first for parts. We bought this screen house at an auction for $5.
Total collapse, hubs (2) shattered and two sets of poles completely destroyed. Not sure if I should order replacement parts or not, maybe I should just consider this a waste of money, ozark trail screen house and cut my losses while I can. We bought this screen tent about 2 years ago and just took it out of the box to put it up. I hate to say it but this thing is a piece of JUNK.
I purchased this Screen House two years ago. It goes up OK, poles have color coded stickers on them. Been through several severe storms while ozark trail canopy camping with no issues. Keeps sun and bugs at bay which was my main reason for buying it. Seems harder to take down than to put up.
