Schwinn Voyageur Hub-Drive e-bike refurbished

Alloy oversized handlebar and stem increase strength and improve the rider steering input. The pictures you are seeing on the product page are the pictures of the exact bike you will receive if you purchase it. If you have any questions or if you want more pictures, don’t hesitate to reach out at  or via our chat. That being said, the small-ish 250W motor isn’t going to be a powerhouse on hills.

Front and rear mechanical disc brakes deliver all-weather stopping power and speed control. You can ride with confidence through rain, dust, and more. Select Schwinn e-bikes include a headlight and taillight to help you see and be seen during low-light rides. The Coston schwinn ebike and Marshall e-bikes also have lights along the battery for additional visibility and a sleek, modern look. The Coston e-bike comes with a typical brick-on-a-string charger that plugs into a normal 110v outlet. Schwinn advertises that it takes about four hours to charge.

This frame style makes it easier to get on and off the bike, and an upright riding position is easier on the lower back. The frame is also designed to be lighter for easier handling, and includes wider tires for extra stability. Examples of this style include both the Coston DX and Mendocino schwinn dealers Step-Thru models. And at the end of the day, we’re talking about an affordable cruiser, so I didn’t expect to find high-end shifters, hydraulic disc brakes, or suspension on the bike. The Shimano Tourney shifter, mechanical disc brakes, and plushy spring saddle are enough for me.

The bike comes with all electronics installed so that you can get on it as quick as possible. Something really cool that we are doing is that now I we increased the front wheel size for better control at high speeds and better bump handling. It uses a 29in tire and wheel in the front and then we keep the rear with a 26in wheel and tire to still provide a good torque on the bike, for a faster acceleration. The included kickstand is also nice because it mounts near the back wheel so it doesn’t get in the way when you need to back the bike up while the kickstand is down.

But of course half the fun of riding a bike is using your own power for propulsion (or at least sharing the load). So I usually found myself keeping it in the second or third pedal assist level out of five total levels. But while the Schwinn EC1 isn’t a fancy cruiser, it is a comfortable and pleasurable ride. The 250 W motor doesn’t sound powerful, but when I put it in the highest assist level I don’t have to do any work. I can just lightly spin the pedals to activate the pedal sensor and the motor does all the work for me. Admit it, there’s something nostalgic about Schwinn bikes — a trusty old Schwinn that reminds you of your childhood.

With just 288 Wh of capacity, the battery surprised me, and not in a good way. Sure, I’ve seen plenty of e-bikes with 288 Wh batteries before. It’s just that they’re usually on smaller, lightweight e-bikes that push the needle considerably less on the scale. Head and taillights are also included for schwinn dealers improved see and be-seen visibility. Headlights, taillights, and integrated frame lights help you see and be seen in low-light conditions. At just $898 with its current Black Friday sale price, the Schwinn EC1 definitely offers more bang for your buck than a lot of other electric bikes out there.
