The single door measures about 54 by 39 inches in dimensions, although it’s about 62 inches from the floor to the top of the door. This is almost a full-sized door, but I do need to duck a little when entering.
The rainfly is removable, but only from the outside. You can also leave the rainfly off, and stargaze at night when ozark trail wagon it’s not raining. For ventilation, this Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has a lot of mesh on the roof of the tent.
I couldn’t be more happy or grateful that my parents wanted to come on an adventure to the Ozarks to find their wayward daughter. After my first mile, a big noise in the woods startled me. A huge black pig was running up a hill to get away from me.
For ease of use, I looked at how easily I could set up this Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent on my own, and with 2 people as well. After, I looked at how easily I could take down and pack up this tent. Generally speaking, if you go into buying an Ozark Trail tent with reasonable expectations, you won’t be disappointed. None of these tents are designed to hold up in a serious thunderstorm. They’re not built for heavy winds, and they certainly aren’t made to stand up to heavy snow. Tents, hammocks or open-air camping — you can do it all according to your comfort level.
The Instant Dome Tent has some pretty neat features besides its easy peasy setup. It has two windows and an adjustable ground vent to keep the tent cool and comfortable. It also has a small opening in the back for electrical cord access and an overhead storage loft for flashlights and other essentials. This roomy option (20′ L x 9′ W x84″ H) offers similar perks as the above 12-person option, but with a little more privacy.
Also, our old Coleman we retired after many many years of faithful service would put out more heat than these Ozarks. Went back to lake and was going to use it again and wouldn’t work. Remove the threaded insert from the bottom of the regulator with a metric deep socket and shake out the button. Put a very small dab of super glue in the button hole and place on top of the tire valve. I read some of the other reviews and quite frankly, I haven’t had the issues the others have.
This bundle’s carry-all bag makes it easy to transport excess food and equipment back to the car. The 3 roof poles are made of fiberglass, which are a bit more flexible. I wouldn’t recommend putting this 10-person tent up on your own though, because it’s quite difficult to get the roof to prop up by yourself. Sometimes I worry that these fiberglass poles will break, because they’re not that sturdy. The mattresses that I used in the picture above are slightly smaller than queen size, but almost queen-sized, give or take a couple of inches.
