This was not a heavy rain by any means as no other shelters or tents collapsed. The weight of the water actually bent several poles on the roof and one leg. This probably could have been prevented by adding more yellow support poles to the roof. The tent fabric roof provides shade for 46 square feet of the room. The Screen House is spacious enough for six people, or more around a folding table in an uninterrupted 360-degree panoramic shelter.
Got this tent as a father’s day gift. Decided to use it to go camping with my fiance and we were going to set up before we went. The screen tent came with missing and broken ozark trail canopy parts. Their solution was for me to pay for replacements out of pocket. No apology, no offer for a resolution. The product is garbage and the customer service is worse.
I came in from work one day and to my surprise it was 60 yards away from me all torn up from landing on my neighbor’s spiked fence. It was torn up pretty bad so I decided to trash it. An item is in good overall condition. The item may be missing the original packaging or protective wrapping, or might be in the original packaging but not sealed. Tried to buy replacement parts but they were discontinued. Had I have known that this particular screen house was so hard to find, I would have bought a kit and tried to repair it. I loved sitting outside and eat dinner in the screen house and mess it.
Then the instructions start to get really funny. ‘Insert the leg poles into the hubs to raise the screenhouse frame’ got the first laugh. The “frame” barely stayed together on the ground. Any attempt to lift a corner and insert a leg pole resulted in pipes flying everywhere.
Great product, however, like everyone else, unable to locate replacement parts. I need to replace the center hub (CTRH-02) since this broke while I was using it. This still has a lot of life left in it and I would love to be able to fix it. We have the majority of the parts, including the screen room still intact.
