Its 10-person version has an impressive peak height of 90 inches, and I couldn’t even reach the top of the tent! (I’m 5’3″, ,by the way.) Another great thing about the Core Cabin Tent is that there are no obvious flaws….
BUT for myself, I am disappointed to have been so thrilled to order this tent with good intentions and ending in a return back to the store. I didn’t think I had a large enough space in my backyard to pitch this tent (14×13.5) I barely squeezed it in my yard. I laid down a tarp before I took out the tent from ozark trail instant cabin its box and it took me about 15 minutes to put up (&and I don’t like reading instruction but it is on the inside of the duffle bag). The three-room cabin is definitely one of Ozark Trail’s more expensive models though, so if you’re shopping on a budget, there are plenty of other models worth considering.
This is slightly taller than my height, so I could stand up everywhere inside the Ozark Trail Tent, even at the corners. The structure is boxy and although it looks so stable, I would not use it in strong winds and rains. Note that there are no options to stake the floor sides in the middle, but you have guylines for the vents’ flaps, they are visible in the picture below. The picture below shows the tent without the fly so you can see the frame. As you realize this is a nicely balanced construction, very stable and self-supporting.
Finally, keep in mind that this is a single wall shelter, which means there’s a lot riding on the quality of the tent fabric and seams. Plenty of customers swear by the Ozark Trail Yurt’s waterproofing, but we recommend ozark trail instant cabin treating it with an extra DWR treatment and sealing any missing seams before putting it to work. The tent itself is nice and roomy, and boasts a 6-foot peak height to make changing clothes a drama-free endeavor.
This is also a cabin style tent with straight but angled walls, though you do not have a stand-up height, the tent is with the peak height of 66 inches (168 cm). The dimensions and the shape are the same as in their Ozark Trail 6-Person Dark Rest Instant Cabin Tent. The one exception to the rule here is for the larger cabin-style tents, especially those with an “instant tent” design that uses pre-attached poles. Large dome tents are also an option, and although they’re a little less flashy, they have some perks of their own. First off, dome tents are typically less expensive since they have fewer total parts and less sophisticated frames.
