We held a public webinar on the Kent Road separated bike lane project held on Thursday 28 October 2021. Over the coming 12 months, we will assess the impact of the design changes through observation and further engagement with the community. Council will consider how to proceed with kent electric bike the bike lanes following the completion of this extended trial in mid-to-late 2023. Following a 12 month trial, Council resolved to continue the trial separated bicycle lanes on Kent Road for an additional 12 months, exploring more design options in consultation with the community.

Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 9 am. Double-lane westbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 9 am. Intermittent 15-minute full closure in one direction at a time may occur Monday to Saturday between 2 am and 5 am except holidays and embargo days for maximum of five nights.
