Ozark Trail Cabin Tent Camping Tents for sale

Note, it is already pre-attached to the main cabin part, so you can simply roll it as much as you can and keep close to the cabin wall. From the text above you already have the idea about the inner area, so you have two rooms in the main cabin separated by the removable divider, and a private room as an extension. There are two entry doors, so the divider attaches in the middle between them, and in such a case, every room in the cabin part has its own door.

For those that only want one bedroom, you can use the second room for eating, lounging, gaming, or storage. The legs and frame come attached to the tent’s canopy, telescoping out to prop it up. You then secure the corners and guy lines to the ground with the provided stakes. The instant, pre-assembled nature of this model makes it very attractive for a few reasons.

I didn’t think I had a large enough space in my backyard to pitch this tent (14×13.5) I barely squeezed it in my yard. I laid down a tarp before I took out the tent from its box and it took me about 15 minutes to put up (&and I don’t like reading instruction but it is on the inside of the duffle bag). The main selling point of this tent is the screen room that is attached to the exterior wall of the main tent. Screened rooms are great for providing a large space that you can enjoy the surrounding natural landscape in a mesh-enclosed environment. A nice touch on the rainfly is that it extends over the screen room so you can remain “indoors” while it pours, offering some respite during rained off days. Which is the main reason people opt for the screen rooms, for that little area to chill in.

Cabin tents typically have more room inside to stretch out thanks to their high ceilings and vertical walls, so most Ozark Trail shoppers will likely want to focus on cabin tents. With that being said, there are a few things you’ll want to know going into your purchase. First, all Ozark Trail tents should be considered “fair-weather” shelters.

The price tag is excellent so if you need a tent for occasional use in very mild weather conditions, this can certainly be an option to consider. But the tent is with an awning, which needs another 8 x 6 ft in front of the entrance doors. This would mean that the ground area is of the shape + or a cross, and the two lengths are 14 and 20 ft. Though you do not need to use the awning if you don’t have enough ground. Having room to spread out inside a tent is great, but unless it’s after dark or raining, chances are you won’t be spending any more time inside your shelter than you absolutely have to.

Hi r/campinggear, my family recently purchased the tent mentioned in the title, the fairly cheap Ozark Trail 8-person instant cabin tent. However, when we received it, it was absolutely gargantuan, even wrapped up in its bag. It’s simply an impossible tent to do anything other than the most basic car camping with, and even then will take up the vast majority of our car’s trunk. I’m wondering if you can recommend a tent that could be a decent more compact replacement.

After I ordered the product at Walmart.com, I went to the store to pay cash. I received two queen air mattress on time but did not receive the tent till well over time estimated delivery. The rest of the tent uses a low to high system, with staked out ground vents on the side of the tent allowing fresh air to enter, while the myriad of mesh windows and ceiling panels expel it. The adjustable nature of the low vents and zip-up windows allow you to fine-tune the airflow to your liking. Drawing the eye of family campers as extra storage space, or shelter from rain/sun is paramount when camping with children.

As you can see one of the more notable features is the integrated screen room, providing extra space to be utilized in numerous different ways. A few very small pockets are on the wall, see ozark trail shower tent the picture below, and I find this really inappropriate for such a big tent designed for 11 people. See this Big Agnes Flying Diamond 6 tent which has 16 huge pockets (for 6 people).
