After enjoying unheard-of popularity during the height of the pandemic, Peloton has since suffered a series of setbacks. In May 2023, Peloton and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a voluntary recall of the Bike. Peloton received 35 reports of broken seat posts during use, a number of which led to falls and injury.
