The inflatable couch is big enough for two people to sit or one person to lounge. It folds to a very petite 13 x 7 x 3.5 inches, so it’ll likely fit into your daypack or beach bag. Just be sure to watch the instruction video on how to inflate it before you take it into the woods with no cell service. Camp loveseats will always be a bit too heavy to backpack with for overnight trips, but at 10 pounds, the ozark trail wagon Coleman Quattro Double is light enough to carry for a mile or two. So if you’re planning to hike out to catch the perfect sunset, one person can sling this chair over their shoulders while the other carries the backpack full of snacks and a blanket. Note that Coleman is able to shave a few pounds by keeping the metal to a minimum, which means this chair has a rather low seat height of just 14.5 inches.
We have not used this one yet, have not had the opportunity. We are sure it will be a great ozark trail canopy as the full size Chairs. The lumbar support is really needed when sitting in a bleacher.
Old-fashioned versions can be comfortable, but they cannot be folded up and taken on camping trips or to sporting events. Snuggle up with your best buds (human or otherwise) on this loveseat camping chair. Adjustable arm rests can accommodate both of your preferences. While most of the furniture you can buy online today comes to you unassembled, that’s rarely the case for things like camp chairs.
Like I said, if you’d rather not send cheap chairs to the landfill, the ALPS Mountaineering Adventure Chair is a good place to start. The backrest is short but strong and the seat’s shape provides a bit more support than most similarly shaped camp chairs. I can sit relatively upright to eat at a camp table or to hold a plate in my lap. And I can slump a bit and still remain comfortable at the beach — even though its shape isn’t all kick-back-and-relax like the ALPS Mountaineering Rendezvous Chair. The Helinox Chair One weighs about 2 pounds, compresses smaller than a 2-liter bottle of soda, and is the most comfortable and easy to stow of the three top backpacking chairs we tested. Like competing chairs, the Chair One has a nylon and mesh seat and aluminum legs, which are linked with shock cord (the chair legs are made out of the same material as high-end tent poles).
