Each pair should be issued an orienteering map of the park, compass, pen/pencil and paper and must have a watch or timer.

Single-lane in both directions will be closed from 9 am to 1 pm and 10 pm to 7 am next morning. These closures will continue from Tuesday, August 15 to Friday, September 15, 2023, to facilitate maintenance. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south outer roadway will be closed from Saturday 5 am to Monday 5 am, and Monday to Friday from 5 am to 7 pm. Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south inner roadway will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm.
Geocaching combines outdoor play with team building, problem solving and other valuable educational outcomes.
