The aggregation will add up to volume loss and require a new helmet to be purchased. It’s got a rather large price tag, but it’s well in keeping with the likes of the Giro Aerohead MIPS helmet, so seems about right. Whilst we can’t vouch for the added watts this design certainly does provide really good airflow through the helmet. The Lazer Vento is designed as an aero helmet, so ventilation is somewhat sacrificed for speed. That said, this helmet still compares very favourably to other aero helmets with regards to keeping your head cool. While I did like a lot of about the Incline, here were some things that detracted from the experience. After a lot of research, I had decided on the Schwinn Boundary, however once I arrived at the store the one I had just seen there had been bought, and I was left without a bike. This review just seems like a rehash of a bunch of other reviews, by the average owner who may or may not know the first thing about adjusting a bicycle to keep it tuned up. There was just a couple things that was loose… But after getting a allen wrench, I was able to tighten up everything. The only good thing about these bikes that I like are the shumano derailleur, the tires, and the grips.
If when you try on a helmet the retention system is on its limit, it is probably the wrong size for you. The MIPS liner is designed to reduce rotational forces on the brain that can occur in the event of a crash. It creates a slip plane to mimic and amplify the brain’s own protection system to minimize force transmission to the brain.
