Handhelds

After testing the Pet Perfect 2 on the low pile carpet, I expected the high carpet to show a drop in results. This handheld vacuum was able to remove rice and cereal completely (100%), kitty litter was lifted from the carpet at 99%, and sugar was cleaned up to a level of 91%. It’s tough for us to recommend the Shark Wandvac when almost every other product is far cheaper and performs better. Based on our testing, we can say this option pairs poor performance with a very high price tag. With higher-scoring contenders in our review of the best vacuum cleaners, we think it’s worth considering a different device for your cleaning needs.

The vacuum shut off repeatedly and alerted us that it needed to be emptied, despite having no debris in the dust bin, and it spit larger debris across the floor. However, it suddenly started performing flawlessly when we moved to cleaning our set of testing stairs. We ended up re-testing the vacuum on the other flooring surfaces and it then began performing very well. This vacuum has adjustable suction levels and brush roll speeds to maximize your cleaning efforts.

There are a wide range of brands like Shark, Dyson, Black+Decker, etc. with different models like Dustbuster, UltraCyclone, and more designed for specific tasks. Hand vacuums come in a variety shark pet hair vacuum of sizes and types that clean everything from your laptop to your rug and even your tables. Handheld models are ergonomically designed to give you comfort while you take care of dusty corners.

We also appreciated using the lift-away pod to carry around while cleaning curtains or reaching light fixtures. However, this pod was a bit sticky to release and required more force than we expected. All in all, we don’t think you can go wrong investing in this upright vacuum with a powerful motor and adjustable cleaning modes to tackle all of the floorings in your home. A Shark handheld vacuum is ideal for small cleaning tasks in the house or car, and takes up minimal storage space.

All things considered, this handheld vacuum could be an excellent option for both pet owners and those who need a quick fix vacuum. Our final tests focused on how easily the vacuums could clean up after our furry friends. We spread out donated pet hair on a couch cushion and a carpet sample to assess how much each contender picked up. It did almost as well on the carpet, but it left behind a bit more, and a decent amount remained trapped on the brush head rather than making it into the collection bin.

Overall, we said this vacuum’s performance was very impressive given its size and single suction setting. Keeping your home neat and tidy is always high up there on the to-do list. Whether it’s a daily or weekly schedule, it takes time and some major planning. You need an array of cleaning essentials and tools to help with the task.

The upholstery brush on the 2-in-1 nozzle needs clicking into place every now and again and the main handle vibrates a little uncomfortably. Its useful accessories make vacuuming easy; there’s an extension hose for reaching into awkward spaces and a pet tool to make your fluffball’s fur disappear. Its bulky body made it tricky to reach narrow crevices and it struggled with embedded pet hair. The battery lasts for just over 10 minutes (it takes about four hours to recharge) but this was long enough for us to clean a small car. It’s weightier than others tested and doesn’t have any onboard storage for additional tools.
